Paid Bereavement Leave
To express the sympathy and support of EverTrue towards our employees when a family member passes away, eligible staff may receive paid bereavement leave (rather than using PTO) to tend to their personal and family needs associated with their loss. The number of paid bereavement hours provided depends upon the employment classification of the employee and the specific relationship outlined below:
Employees eligible to receive paid bereavement leave are those who have been employed thirty (30) days or more and in a Full-time or Part-Time status budgeted for sixteen (16) or more hours per week.
The amount of Paid Bereavement Leave will be equal to the number of hours the employee is typically scheduled (or budgeted for) during that time period.
