Complete these Payroll Task before December 31

As we approach the close of the calendar year, it is essential that all employees complete several payroll-related tasks to ensure accurate records and timely receipt of tax documents. Please review the following items and take action as soon as possible:

Verify Address in Workday

  • Confirm that your home mailing address in Workday is current and accurate.

  • This step is critical to ensure that any year-end payroll or tax documents mailed to you are delivered correctly.

  • Here is the link to review current address in Workday: Visit Workday, click on Personal Information, Contact Information, then Edit if you need to make changes. 

Opt In for Electronic W-2 Delivery

  • Employees are strongly encouraged to select electronic delivery of their W-2 forms in Workday.

  • Electronic W-2s provide faster access, secure retrieval, and reduced reliance on paper mail.

  • To receive your 2025 W-2 through Workday: Visit Workday, click the Benefits and Pay icon, then My Tax Documents and View/Print. 

Complete any tasks remaining in your Workday inbox

There was a document distributed in November regarding PTO sellback which must be acknowledged by Dec 31 in order to sell back PTO in 2026. Whether you’re selling PTO back as part of the quarterly “PTO Sell-back” opportunities or through the “PTO Holiday Supplement” perk for those required to work on any of our eight (8) EverTrue holidays, this will only be possible if you submit this acknowledgement in Workday no later than December 31. Visit Workday and complete any tasks which are in your inbox.

New Overtime Tax Rules

Under the recently enacted “One Big Beautiful Bill Act”, employees may now deduct overtime premiums from their taxable income.

 To calculate the tax-deductible amount:

  • Refer to your December 26, 2025 pay stub and locate the Year-to-Date Overtime total.

  • Divide this amount by one-third (⅓).  The resulting figure is the amount eligible for deduction on your taxes.

All employees must complete these tasks in Points 1 through 3 no later than December 31. Timely completion will help prevent delays and ensure compliance with year-end payroll and tax requirements.
