Use it or Lose it: What's your Healthcare FSA Balance?

‍Healthcare flexible spending accounts (HC-FSA) can be a great way to pay for out-of-pocket healthcare costs tax free. But your unspent HC-FSA dollars are lost at the end of the year. Make sure you’re on track by checking your HC-FSA balance now using the mobile app or the WEX Login Page.  

‍You should review your year-to-date expenses now to see what remains. Identify any upcoming expenses and plan how to spend down your account. To see if an expense is eligible under your HC-FSA use this search tool.  

‍EverTrue offers a grace period that allows you to spend your HC-FSA balance through March 15, 2027, which is 75 days following the close of the plan year. After that you forfeit any remaining the balance.
